It was difficult to find a suitable replacement for Stefan Askenase, but Erhard Würth succeeded in bringing Polish violin virtuoso Wanda Wilkomirska and Werner Genuit on piano to the EMSBÜRENER MUSIKTAGE. The two would perform frequently in Emsbüren in the following years.
