Playful explanations for children about how classical music works

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Fokus Cultural Center.

What is the difference between loud and soft? How colorful can different sounds be? Or what does a horn sound like? These questions are answered for kindergarten-aged children in a playful way. The participants in the masterclasses at the Emsbürener Musiktage play their instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon. All children are encouraged to participate, to dance, to feel and experience the music. The aim of the event is to introduce children to music through fun and a variety of materials.
