50 years of the "Emsbürener Musiktage"
The 50th Emsbürener Musiktage 2025 will take place from October 19 to November 9, 2025. This traditional event consists of several concerts and the international masterclass week from October 19 to 26, 2025.
After 50 years, the Emsbürener Musiktage are a traditional event series in the southern Emsland region and each year contribute not only to musical education but also to the lively local cultural scene.
Intensive, daily one-on-one instruction in flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon – plus chamber music instruction and mental training – awaits the approximately 40 participants, who are selected through an admissions process. The focused, one-week instruction in small groups with professors from renowned music academies, in particular, demonstrates the value of this course for every musician's resume.
We are celebrating 50 years of the Emsbürener Musiktage with special events such as a digital chronicle of the past decades, the brilliant a cappella group Sjaella, and a joint celebratory evening.

Circle of friends
The Emsbüren Music Days Friends Association has been supporting the master classes and events for many years, both morally and financially. Through membership fees, donations, and personal commitment, young talents are given a platform and the cultural life of Emsbüren is sustainably strengthened.
